Na \u00dastavu p\u0159\u00edstrojov\u00e9 techniky AV \u010cR<\/a> (ve spolupr\u00e1ci s\u00a0partnersk\u00fdm pracovi\u0161t\u011bm v\u00a0Jen\u011b) vyv\u00edj\u00edme vl\u00e1knov\u00e9 holografick\u00e9 endoskopy pro in vivo<\/em> pou\u017eit\u00ed. C\u00edlem v\u00a0sou\u010dasnosti b\u011b\u017e\u00edc\u00edho projektu je vyu\u017eit\u00ed technologie holografick\u00e9 endoskopie pro morfologick\u00e9 a\u00a0funk\u010dn\u00ed zobrazov\u00e1n\u00ed neuron\u016f v\u00a0my\u0161\u00edm mozku. Zobrazov\u00e1n\u00ed prob\u00edh\u00e1 na b\u00e1zi geneticky k\u00f3dovan\u00e9ho fluorescen\u010dn\u00edho proteinu u\u00a0transgenn\u00edch my\u0161\u00ed. Biologick\u00e1 \u010d\u00e1st projektu zahrnuje vlastn\u00ed k\u0159\u00ed\u017een\u00ed my\u0161\u00ed, r\u016fzn\u00e9 varianty chirurgick\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edpravy pro in vivo<\/em> zobrazov\u00e1n\u00ed a\u00a0in vitro<\/em> postrocessing tk\u00e1n\u00ed. Moment\u00e1ln\u011b jsme schopni s\u00a0ur\u010dit\u00fdmi limity zobrazovat neuron\u00e1ln\u00ed somata, axony, dendrity a\u00a0spiny a\u00a0z funk\u010dn\u00edho hlediska prov\u00e1d\u011bt kalcium imaging. Postupn\u011b zav\u00e1d\u00edme dal\u0161\u00ed in vivo<\/em> i\u00a0in vitro<\/em> metody (elektrofyziologie, optogenetika, imunofluorescence, cytochemie) a\u00a0sna\u017e\u00edme se tuto technologii aplikovat do vhodn\u00fdch biologick\u00fdch model\u016f (mozkov\u00e1 mrtvice, Alzheimerova choroba).<\/div>\n

Postdoctoral position in Evolutionary Ecology at MUNI <\/a><\/h2>\n

Postdoctoral position is open within grant project of prof. Andrea Vete\u0161n\u00edkov\u00e1 \u0160imkov\u00e1<\/strong>, project title: Evolutionary and ecological mechanisms of the coexistence of asexual and sexual reproduction in fish<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

The aim of the project is to study the mechanisms facilitating the coexistence of asexuals (triploids) and sexuals (diploids) of gibel carp (Carassius gibelio), unique cyprinid fish exhibiting dual mode of reproduction. More specifically, the project will investigate 1) the contribution of abiotic, demographical and behavioral factors, and parasite load on coexistence of sexual and asexual forms, 2) and the differential expression of immune genes and genes associated with reproduction of sexuals and asexuals.<\/p>\n

The selected candidate for postdoctoral position will be responsible mainly for molecular parts of projects<\/strong> (experiment design in collaboration with mentor, optimization and realization of molecular analyses, guiding molecular analyses of students involved in project, biological interpretation of bioinformatics analyses realized in collaboration with CEITEC MUNI, coordination of molecular part of the project, results interpretation, presentations at international conferences, publications of project outputs in international journals).<\/p>\n

The L’Or\u00e9al-UNESCO For Women in the Science, Czech Republic talent program aim to promote young women’s\u00a0participation in science. The program identifies and rewards talented young female researchers<\/strong> in Formal sciences such as Information Technology and Information Science and Mathematics; Life and environmental sciences such as Biological, Clinical, Basic Medical and Health Sciences<\/strong><\/em> and Physical Sciences.<\/p>\n

Applications can be submitted by female Czech scientists (or foreign nationality but demonstrably working in Czech science respectively doing research in an institution in the Czech Republic for at least one year).<\/p>\n
